Whether 'tis beneficial to focus
And to pay the strictest of attention in class,
Or to let the mind wander,
And, by daydreaming ease the mind. To wander, to stray—
For what else is wandering—and by a stray from focus we cease
The struggles and the incessant stresses
That school brings upon us—'tis a position none desire.
To drift, to suffer. Therein lies the complication.
For in roaming from the classroom what lessons may be taught
When we are lounging about on a separate soil,
We must end. That is the idea
That brings us back to the dull, tedious lesson.

Life seems to slow down. You begin to count each second, until time becomes a simple extension of yourself. It ticks away to the rhythmic beating of your heart and the gentle whisper of your breath. It is almost as if you could reach out, grab those fleeting moments in your hands. Like you could stop them from escaping you so fast. Yet they persist, floating up above

I've been doing good too! My summer holidays are almost finished though (only got about 10 days left D': ) and I'm about to go into the most important year of school. Which means work, tests, work.
